Snow Construction & Outdoor Winter Camp Maintenance Specialist
Location: Levi, Finnish Lapland
Contract period: 01.11.2026 – 28.02.2027, with possible extension until 31.03.2027
Working mode: Seasonal outdoor work, with flexible hours depending on weather and operational needs
Contract type: Fixed-term seasonal employment or self-employed contractor arrangement
We are looking for a practical, hands-on person to join our winter team in Levi. Working with a team of 4–5 people, you will help build our Snow Igloo Park during the early winter and take care of snow structures, outdoor facilities and equipment throughout the season. You will also prepare Polarman's Camp for regular evening guest programs.
Main responsibilities
Build snow igloos, tunnels, snow walls, slides and other snow and ice structures.
Work with snow blocks, moulds, artificial snow and construction equipment.
Assist with snow processing and transportation using tractors and other machinery.
Prepare Snow Igloo Park and Polarman's Camp for guest programs.
Clear snow and ice from outdoor areas, pathways and facilities.
Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs and safety checks of camp structures and equipment.
Ideal profile
Practical experience in construction, maintenance, building work or machinery operation.
Confident using common hand tools and power tools.
Experience operating tractors, chainsaws or snow-clearing equipment is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in demanding winter conditions.
Basic English communication skills.
Valid Category B driving licence.
Reliable, proactive and comfortable working as part of a team.
Previous snow construction experience is welcome but not required. Training will be provided
