Often we travelled with the minimum and very primitive equipment learning how to survive when literally you have nothing. In 1998-1999 the International wilderness guide course I participated in had formed my experience from the previous journeys into solid bunch of skills of safe travelling in the wild nature.
Here in Lapland we have many visitors from countries with different cultures and climate background. Therefore, working as a guide, often in cold conditions and harsh environment.

After a cycling trip across Sweden in 2013 I landed in Finland and have been discovering its diversity for the last 7 years. Working initially as a chef then later a guide in a small fishing company before joining a well established diverse guiding company, I have a good grasp of the amenities around Levi an Mounio ski resort and thoroughly enjoy introducing people to a magical part of the world that’s very close to my heart. I have also travelled around Lapland during the summer months, very much enjoy exploring its incredible nature throughout the seasons.
