Winter Clothing & Office Housekeeping Coordinator Location: Levi, Lapland Contract period: 01.11.2026–31.03.2027 Working mode: Full-time, on-site Contract type: Fixed-term seasonal employment We are looking for a reliable, energetic and hands-on Winter Clothing & Office Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team in Levi. This role supports the smooth daily flow of our winter operations by keeping guest clothing and equipment clean, dry and ready for departures, assisting guests with outfitting, and helping maintain a clean and organized office environment. Main responsibilities Clean, dry, disinfect, sort and organize winter clothing and equipment. Prepare correct sizes and clothing sets for guest departures. Check the condition of overalls, boots, helmets and other equipment. Handle basic replacements, repairs and maintenance needs. Keep simple washing and maintenance records. Help guests dress and undress before and after activities. Advise guests on layering and staying warm in Arctic conditions. Keep the kitchen, staff areas, front desk zone and entrance clean, safe and organized. Support daily cleanliness in customer-facing and staff areas. Ideal profile Practical, reliable, positive and self-disciplined attitude. Good English skills are required. Valid Category B driver’s license and good driving experience are required. Physically ready for active work during a busy winter season. Attentive to cleanliness, order and details. Comfortable working with international guests and colleagues. Previous cleaning, housekeeping, laundry or equipment maintenance experience is an advantage. Additional languages such as Spanish, French, German or Dutch are considered an advantage. Apply

Child price is valid for a child under 140 cm seated in a sleigh. Insurance covers accidents with a maximum responsibility of 990€. According to Finnish law, to drive a snowmobile one should be at least 15 years old and have a valid driver's license of category B, T, A1, or A (i.e. car or motorbike). Alcohol tolerance is zero, drivers will have to pass an alcohol test before the safari. A second passenger can sit behind the driver on the snowmobile if the person's minimum height is 140 cm and his/her feet can fully reach the footrests. Otherwise, this person should be seated in the sled. The sled is always pulled by the guide's snowmobile. The sled has an open top and can take up to 4 persons. It's advised that a small child seated in a sleigh is accompanied by an adult. The maximum speed limit is 60 km/h and 80 km/h on the lakes. Driving is only allowed on marked trails. As storyteller and Aurora watcher, he shares stories about the Northern Lights, explains what to look for in the sky and keeps track of conditions throughout the program. Inside the warm Aurora Dome Guests can settle onto reindeer skins beside the fireplace inside the heated Aurora Dome. The temperature stays at approximately +15°C or warmer, so there is always a comfortable place to return to after time outside. A short Northern Lights film is shown on a large screen, followed by stories and legends about the Aurora. Hot berry juice or the Polarman's special magic drink is served with ginger cookies while the guide watches the northern sky. Snowshoeing to the frozen lake The active part of the evening begins at the camp, where the group puts on snowshoes and follows the guide through the winter forest towards a nearby frozen lake. The shoreline is approximately 500 to 600 metres away. The snowshoeing takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes in total for the journey there and back. The pace leaves time to experience the quiet forest and winter darkness before the landscape opens at the lake. From the frozen lake, the horizon is broad and unobstructed, with a clear view towards the northern sky. The group spends time watching the sky before returning through the forest on snowshoes to the warmth of Polarman's Camp. Watching the Northern Lights The Polarman keeps watch on the sky throughout the evening. If Aurora activity appears, the group makes the most of the conditions from the camp clearing or the open lake. Northern Lights sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed. A photo and video session is available if requested. When conditions allow, the guide can photograph guests with the Northern Lights. Children’s letters: Drop your child’s letter at our Safarimarket office in Levi before 12:00 on the program day. Letters are placed in Santa’s post station. Santa may not have time to read every letter during the program - we cannot guarantee he will pick your child’s letter specifically. Special personal gifts: In the group program, every child receives the same standard surprise gift from Santa. Bringing personal gifts from parents is not part of the group program - it would not be fair to the other children. Personal gifts can be arranged on a private booking. Daylight: In November and December, days in Lapland are short and it starts to get dark already after 2 pm - and that is exactly when our Santa program runs. Remember: the magic starts outside.
