Child price is valid for a child under 140 cm seated in a sleigh. Insurance covers accidents with a maximum responsibility of 990€. According to Finnish law, to drive a snowmobile one should be at least 15 years old and have a valid driver's license of category B, T, A1, or A (i.e. car or motorbike). Alcohol tolerance is zero, drivers will have to pass an alcohol test before the safari. A second passenger can sit behind the driver on the snowmobile if the person's minimum height is 140 cm and his/her feet can fully reach the footrests. Otherwise, this person should be seated in the sled. The sled is always pulled by the guide's snowmobile. The sled has an open top and can take up to 4 persons. It's advised that a small child seated in a sleigh is accompanied by an adult. The maximum speed limit is 60 km/h and 80 km/h on the lakes. Driving is only allowed on marked trails. INCLUDED PLEASE NOTE Winter biking with pedal assisted electric fat bike is easy for people who does some kind of cycling regularly. However this is a physical activity and can be challenging if you have not pedalled in many many years. Also if you are not familiar with bicycles at all, this ride might be a bit challenging one. Our smallest electric fat bikes suits around 150cm long riders. The northern weather might do its tricks now and then. When the winter cycling route is in good condition riding is very easy and flowy. Like a roller coaster where you decide the speed and intensity. After snow storm riding might be more difficult and we may have to change the route plans on the go. 99,9% of the time we will find good and fun riding and we get to the top of Ounasvaara hill and back during the ride! We have a good knowledge of the conditions out in the trails. If the conditions are not suitable for high quality riding, we let you know and you can decide if you still want to go or to cancel the trip with full refund.
