THE EXPERIENCE
Explore Lapland from the saddle of an electric fat bike, riding through forest trails just outside Rovaniemi. The wide tires handle the terrain with ease, and the electric assist takes the effort out of it - no experience needed, and it works well for pretty much any fitness level.
The route winds through our private reindeer farm area, past quiet forest and open landscape. Keep an eye out along the way - you might spot local wildlife, and there's a good chance to just take in how still and open it all feels.
Once you're back, warm up by the fire with hot berry juice and a few snacks before meeting the reindeer up close. You can hand-feed them and hear a bit about reindeer herding and what life looks like this far north - a nice, low-key way to get a feel for local tradition.
Just 20 minutes from Rovaniemi city centre, it's an easy half-day out: a bit of light adventure, some local culture, and proper Arctic scenery along the way.
