Electric Snowmobile Safari & Reindeer Experience Rovaniemi
Head out into the Porovaara forest Rovaniemi on an electric snowmobile, riding through wide stretches of untouched Lapland wilderness. The safari also includes a stop to see our reindeer in their natural habitat.
WHY YOU´LL LOVE IT
Hear the Arctic instead of the engine - electric snowmobiles make the ride noticeably quieter, letting you hear the snow and forest around you as you travel.
Drive on private forest trails - explore Porovaara’s own land away from the busiest snowmobile routes around Rovaniemi.
Experience snowmobiling in a different way - the smooth electric drive feels calm and effortless while still giving you the fun of driving your own snowmobile.
Meet and hand-feed the reindeer - get close to the animals in the private reindeer area and learn more about their life in Lapland.
Warm up around a real fire - after the ride, grill sausages and enjoy hot berry juice while your guide shares stories about the area and local life.
Escape into Lapland without travelling far - the private wilderness area is only around 20 minutes from Rovaniemi city centre.
THE EXPERIENCE
Head out into the Porovaara forest Rovaniemi on an electric snowmobile, riding through wide stretches of untouched Lapland wilderness. Because the engines are electric, there's no roar - just the sound of snow under the runners and the forest around you. It makes the whole ride feel more like gliding than driving, and gives you a chance to actually take in the scenery instead of just powering through it.
Along the way, we stop for a short break to enjoy the views, and once you're back, there's a fire waiting with hot berry juice and a few snacks. Your guide will fill you in on the area, local life, and what everyday winter looks like up here.
The safari also includes a stop to see our reindeer in their natural habitat - you can get close and hand-feed them, which tends to be everyone's favourite part.
Just 20 minutes from Rovaniemi centre, it's a good pick if you want to get properly out into Arctic nature without a lot of noise or fuss.
