Have dinner inside a world built to last just one winter. Travel from Levi to Lainio Snow Village, where your table awaits in a restaurant made of snow and ice. Enjoy a pre-booked three-course meal, then explore the season’s ice exhibition with a guide. End the visit with warm berry juice in the ice bar before returning to Levi.
Lainio Snow Village with Ice Restaurant Dinner, Levi - Dinner at -6°C, at a Table Carved from Ice
On arrival, guests are escorted directly to the ice restaurant - dinner is pre-booked at 17:00, fully paid, seating arranged by the restaurant - guests pay nothing on arrival; only additional drinks ordered on site are charged separately. Ice tables, ice chairs, walls of sculpted snow and carved ice, the temperature a steady -6°C. Dinner takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. After dinner, guests have 1-1.5 hours for the guided Snow Village tour and ice bar visit before the return journey to Levi.
The Snow Village - A New Theme Every Year
Lainio Snow Village is constructed entirely from snow and ice each November. The theme changes every year. Past seasons have included Game of Thrones, Nordic Mythology, Underworld, and the Underwater World. For 2025-2026 - the Snow Village’s 25th anniversary - the theme is Pure Celebration: a carnival, a Rio de Janeiro area and an ice bar dressed in the colours of Ireland.

Lapland delicacies: the North in it’s purest form, savory and surprising. Lapland on a plate in form of reindeer, northern fish, small farm cheese, vegetables and berries. Served in a tapas bite size style. L/G

Reindeer two ways: Roasted beetroot puree, black currant sauce. L/G
Arctic char: Parsnip puree, apple chutney, lobster sauce. L/G

Chicken gyoza: Roasted pepper sauce, wasabi creme fresh. L/G
