The safari
Your experience begins at our new safari house in a quiet private forest setting only minutes from Levi centre.
Before departure, your guide provides a clear safety briefing and explains how to steer, brake and position yourself on the snowmobile. No previous experience is required. The Classic is designed to give first-time riders enough support to feel comfortable while still providing a genuine self-drive snowmobile experience.
Each guide leads a maximum of 6 snowmobiles. Keeping the group small makes it easier to hear the instructions, maintain a comfortable pace and receive personal help when needed. It also means fewer delays and no long convoy disappearing into the distance.
The safari is operated with brand-new 2026 Ski-Doo Grand Touring Sport 600 ACE snowmobiles. The entire fleet remains under the supervision of our own operating and maintenance team.
The route combines selected sections of Levi’s public snowmobile network with more than 15 km of trails across privately owned wilderness land, prepared for our own programs. Public trails connect the route through the wider Levi area, while the private sections take the group away from much of the main traffic and into quieter forests and open Arctic landscapes.
During Levi’s busiest winter weeks, the public trails can carry considerable traffic in both directions. On our private sections, the atmosphere changes: fewer passing machines, a more relaxed pace and moments when the engines can be switched off and the silence of the forest becomes part of the experience.
The precise route is selected according to snow, ice and trail conditions. Along the way, the group travels through snow-covered forest and frozen landscapes near Levi fell before stopping for a hot drink and photographs in the wilderness.
