The coldest months in Levi are January and February, with average daytime temperatures ranging from -9°C to -10°C. As the sun sets early in Lapland, temperatures drop to a chilly -18°C to -19°C.


In March and April, the chill starts to subside, with daytime temperatures hovering around -3°C to -4°C, and nightly temperatures from -12°C to -17°C.


May marks the end of the ski season, with daytime temperatures consistently above freezing and only slightly below freezing at night.


June marks the start of summer, but even during the Juhannus holiday, daytime temperatures barely reach +20°C, with an average ranging from +20°C to +30°C.


In July and August, Levi still enjoys some warm sunshine, but most days see temperatures not exceeding +20°C.


As the summer sun barely dips below the horizon, temperatures in the evening drop to +6°C to -8°C. Summer takes a sudden turn by September, with the first frosts at night and daytime temperatures ranging from +8°C to +10°C.


October feels like an early winter, while November kicks off steady frost and persistent snowfall.


From November to December, expect mild frost, with average daytime temperatures from -7°C to -12°C and nightly temperatures dropping to -18°C to -22°C.

December often ushers in the heart of winter, with temperatures plummeting to -20°C to -30°C. Winter temperatures in Levi can be extreme, staying below zero and occasionally plunging to -40°C, with the coldest days typically occurring at the end of January.
