This winter 2025-2026, we invite you to experience our most exciting lineup of husky safaris yet - wisely updated for both returning guests and first-time visitors.

  6. New kennel tour option – meet the dogs without going on a ride

LEVI HUSKY PARK


Explore Levi Husky Park, a historic kennel in Lapland run by legendary Finnish musher Reijo Jääskeläinen. The park is home to Siberian huskies, Arctic and red foxes, reindeer, and rare dog-wolf hybrids.


Your visit includes a guided tour around the park, where you’ll meet the animals up close, learn about their care and training, and hear behind-the-scenes stories from film and TV productions featuring the park’s stars.Don’t miss the chance to meet the famous kissing reindeer — a guest favorite and a perfect photo opportunity!


You can also enjoy a musher-driven sleigh ride through the snowy forest:

  • 2 km ride available throughout the winter season

  • 3 km ride available from January 15 onwards


After the tour, relax in the warm hut with a grilled sausage, a hot drink, and a short film about husky life in Lapland.


An ideal experience for families, animal lovers, and anyone curious about Arctic wildlife and working huskies.


HIDDEN FOREST KENNEL - 2 KM & 5 KM


Just 15 minutes from Levi, escape to a peaceful husky kennel hidden deep in the snowy Lappish forest. Home to around 70 friendly huskies, including Siberian and Alaskan breeds, this secluded setting offers a truly authentic and intimate Lapland experience.


Here, you’ll be welcomed like family:

  • Meet each dog by name

  • Cuddle and play with free-running huskies in a special open area

  • Choose from a selection of husky rides through the quiet forest trails:


    Self-drive safaris: 2 km or 5–6 km

    Musher-driven ride available as an optional add-on


Ideal for small groups, families, and anyone looking for a personal connection with the dogs in a tranquil Arctic setting.

 

SELF-DRIVE HUSKY SAFARI – 5 KM & 10 KM


Enjoy an authentic husky experience at a small, family-run kennel just 30 minutes from Levi. The professional mushers here prioritize the dogs’ well-being — with small group sizes, regular rest days, and a calm, personal atmosphere.


Choose between a 5 km or 10 km self-drive safari through snowy forests and across a frozen river. After a short stop midway, drivers and passengers can switch places — both get to experience the thrill of mushing.


The kennel is home to over 40 well-trained Arctic-Alaskan and Siberian huskies, plus a few rare reindeer dogs. After the ride, you’ll have time to meet more of the dogs, visit the free-run area for cuddles and photos, and enjoy a relaxed walk through the kennel.


Your visit ends in the brand new, spacious kota (Lappish hut), where you can warm up by the open fire with a cup of hot berry juice and homemade cookies. A perfect time to ask questions and hear stories about life with huskies.



Discover a peaceful, family-run husky kennel nestled in the snowy forest just outside Rovaniemi. Home to around 50 well-cared-for huskies, this new experience focuses on connection, calm, and authentic Arctic charm.


After meeting your sled team, choose between a 2 km or 5 km self-drive safari along magical winter trails - ideal for first-timers and nature lovers alike. Prefer to relax? A musher-driven ride is available as an optional add-on.

This winter, many of our self-guided husky experiences are enriched with extra time for animal interaction. In select kennels, you’ll enjoy unhurried moments with friendly, free-running huskies in a dedicated play area - perfect for cuddling, playing, and capturing relaxed, natural photos.

It’s a guest favorite and a heartwarming highlight of the season.

Please note: free-run interaction area is not available at Levi Husky Park.
