We will spend about two hours fishing before taking a break to warm up by the fire and have a snack. If you’re lucky enough to catch a fish, our guide will help cook it for you over an open fire in the traditional Finnish way of ‘fire-glowing.’ The fish is filleted, pinned to a wooden board, and placed vertically next to the fire flames for about 40 minutes, giving it a natural fire glow and a slightly smoky taste.
